IBRAHIMOVIC JOINS AC MILAN

After months of back and forth transfer rumors, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is finally joining AC Milan once the January transfer window opens.

Since Piatek fell short of his form as opposed to when he came to Milan, the Rossoneri have struggled with finding the back of the net.

Ibrahimovic, a former Milan striker, only put pen to paper for a 6 months contract which will be made official once he passes the medical. With such a short contract, it is clear that the diminishing return that comes with having the former Swedish captain in a squad.

The former Manchester United striker who quit the MLS football franchise recently will hope Americans go back to the baseball he told them and not hold out to watch him fail at his second coming at the San Siro. Even if the Balkan legend was to fail, his ego is large enough to make sure he doesn’t.

Milan who are currently lagging behind in the Serie A will hope that the former Sweden international’s prescense will at least help them qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League. Even if he doesn’t do the scoring himself, having such a huge ego in the dressing room have a way of spurring up the rest of the team into Zlatan-mode. Same trick he pulled at Manchester United.

Ibrahimovic says getting the team back to the heights they were used to is his major goal upon joining. A qualification for Europe will mean Milan gets a good deal out of the deal.

The Rossoneri are currently sitting in 11th and on the back of 16 goals in 17 outings, the club’s greatest weakest is undoubtedly their worst nightmare.

The last time Zlatan Ibrahimovic was at AC Milan they won the Serie A title that season.
